Print Design
O & K Magazine
This is a section of a series of photographs that I took during a summer photo shoot, as well as a concept for a print magazine. This is a personal passion project focused on creating magazine layout covers. I spent a lot of time on this project, specifically in selecting the right typography and colours for optimal readability.

The Calgary Journal
While I was a student in the journalism program at Mount Royal University, I published several articles in The Calgary Journal, a local student newspaper. I captured all the photographs and wrote the articles. Writing involved finding local stories to tell, conducting research, and interviewing individuals for these narratives. Using the photographs I took, I created layouts that were prepared for print for the monthly issue.

Valora Commercial
I worked on this project with Kayla Nikpour, Jesabelle Lau, and Maria Nefulda. We came up with a creative project to create a short commercial for a fictional lip gloss brand we called Valora. I created the concept and designed the logo for the brand! I led lighting, decorated a scene, operated the camera for select shots, and handled music and sound selection in post-production.

Mylynn Lam Beauty Tips
During my undergrad, I did a feature on Mylyn Lam, a talented Calgary-based makeup artist, as she showcased the latest lip kit release from Bite Beauty. It was an exciting opportunity to highlight local talent and to show the process of creating an awesome makeup look.
